I grew up in many places but I am a Colorado native. I've never skied- I wouldn't feel safe with sleds on my feet. I went to highschool with my husband but we didn't meet until after I graduated. I went to Colorado State University and gained a BA in Journalism which I have hardly used. I joined the LDS church, which my parents thought would be a phase. I married Mike in the Denver Temple and then we began a family. I didn't imagine myself with 7 children- Yet, who would I choose not to have? They are all special and unique. They have brought me unimaginable joy (and sometimes pain.)
I chickened out at WW today. I took the no weigh-in, but I showed up. There were a lot of empty seats in the usually very crowded room. Mike and I got on our bikes until the wind blew us back home. It's a new week- I'm going to get back to basics.
All of the big holidays are over for a while. I think it's great that you kept up with your meeting...the empty seats show that others weren't ready to do that. (Post-holiday blues? Too long since New Years' Resolutions?)
And you're back in the saddle, so to speak. Back to basics sounds good to me. :)
