Snug pants

I've gave up on the 30 day shred at day 26. I didn't see how I could possibly win because I have only lost a few pounds- not a proclaimed 20 from the box. Yet, I admit I would have had to eat much less and lately that seems like torture. Oh well, it's been too cold to walk outside, so the shred has kept me exercising.
I feel like I'm in a holding pattern on the weight loss. It's all mental. I want to lose, but I have not had the full gusto to really get going. I bought some new shorts in a smaller size that are a little tight. I have noticed that when I want to skive off and over eat or not exercise I think about the shorts feeling snug and forfeit the skive.
I'm posting my February photo where I'm wearing one of my favorite sweaters- it really is way to big. It's a little harder to tell in the photo, but it amuses me to put it on and remember that it was tight at one time and I could not button it without it stretching between the buttons. That may be why almost all the buttons have fallen off.

  1. Just take it a day at a time. The winter is so hard because you don't want to go out and it's so tempting to eat rich food. Spring will be here soon...
