Back in January I signed Mike and I up for a Blogger 5k Run Day, http://www.myjourneytofit.com/, for a future March 7. It sounded like fun- a whole bunch of bloggers around the world doing a 5k on the same day. Today is the day. We got up and power-walked, jogged, a little run, for a 5k in 45:23! On September 17, Mike and I did the church 5k in 54 minutes. Mike did the math and we had an improvement of 17 percent!

ReplyDeleteCongrats to you both. Looks like the weather was cooperating too. Watch out though...it seems like Colorado likes to get one last blizzard in mid-March. Here, it's really spring. The leaves are starting to come out and the bushes are flowering.
