I just had to take a no weigh in today. Last night's rice was sitting heavy in my gut and baking cupcakes before bed did not lead me to think that the scale would be right on. I find it's better to go and not face the scale than to just give up. Hey, I have my scale at home... too.
Moving right along... On one of the blogs that I read, http://pudget1.blogspot.com/, she is doing a Jillian Michael's 30 day challenge. I will do the 30 day shred (a workout video) for 30 days and then she'll give prizes for the biggest percentage of weight and whomever does the most days in a complicated formula... I just thought it would give me a boost to get moving. Today was the first day and even though I've been walking almost 5 miles in an hour the work out with weights and jumping jacks was tough. It really is going to be a challenge. This is the video I lost my first 20 pounds with (not in 30 days.) Mike and I have already planned to do day 2 at 8 am tomorrow.
The No Weigh In option sounds like a good thing when you need it. Hope next week goes well for you, now that your scale is back in operating order.
ReplyDeleteHearing about "The Shred" from more than one person makes me glad I can't do things like jumping jacks anymore. (Not really. I'd rather have a healthy ankle, but I gotta find the silver lining where I can.) Hope you have great success.
P.S. I'm still waiting for February's menu post. (Just teasing.)
