I've pretty much kept to my points and have burned 2534 calories as of today, but I don't know how this is going to show on the scale. (Or will it?) My bathroom scale has the error notice that it needs a new battery. Mike bought one on-line and hasn't shown up yet. I see how those biggest loser people would get uptight. It's a nice confirmation to watch the numbers go down (and sometimes up) during the week. In April I started a notebook that I wrote down the number every morning. After months of keeping this, I could go back and see the ebb and flow of the numbers going down and up and eventually down. Tomorrow is my Sunday routine before weigh-in. I need to drink a bunch of water too.
Quick questions on your watch. Do you wear it all of the time or just when you're exercising? If you wear it all of the time, does it measure all of the calories you burn or just the exercise calories?
ReplyDeleteHope you have another great result at your weigh-in today.
I'm curious about this too. Do you wear the watch all the time? And what about the chest strap?
ReplyDeleteI do not wear the strap all the time. If I'm getting on the tread mill or going for a walk or going to turn on a workout dvd I'll put it on and start the watch on exercise mode. Probably it is more work to put my shoes on than the strap. If I wear it all the time in exercise mode it would beep at me for not having my heart rate in the zone- that would be bothersome. If I leave the strap on I can monitor my heartrate- but not my calories.
